The Vietnam Blockchain Union (Vietnam Blockchain Union, VBU) under the Vietnam Digital Media Association was established to connect organizations and individuals to research, apply, invest, and develop policies on Blockchain (including government agencies and the private sector). Thereby, sharing knowledge, experience and solutions, towards the common goal of developing and effectively applying Blockchain to the digital economy, contributing to national digital transformation.
With these functions, VBU is expected to gradually expand internationally according to each stage of development.

- VBU is ambitious to become the number 1 prestigious Blockchain Union in Vietnam, bringing together leading domestic and foreign blockchain experts and organizations.
- Building and promoting the Vietnamese Blockchain community in the top 5 in the world, contributing to creating many opportunities for Vietnam to develop with the digital economy.
Mission
- VBU advises, critiques policies and connects the community of experts, engineers, and personnel operating in the field of Blockchain technology.
- VBU also participates in training, propagating and disseminating Blockchain knowledge; promoting investment, connecting domestic and foreign market supply and demand, promoting entrepreneurship and innovation; participate in the appraisal and evaluation of Blockchain technology, recommend and warn of operational risks of projects or community groups with abnormal signs; consulting and networking careers in the field of Blockchain.
